Disgorged December 2022. This bottling is drawn entirely from the 2018 vintage, all from sites around the Grand Cru village of Aÿ. (For those geeky souls it is clay and limestone over chalk; and the parcels are: 24% Valnon Froid Cul, 18% Vauzelles Crohau, 15% Les Granges Ouxo Pierreres, 15% Haut Crohau, 10% Chatillons, 10% Freres Martin, 8% Longchamp.) The nose opens with lemon oil, cream, white fleshed stone fruits, and just there wet stones. The palate is nicely textured with cream, citrus and stone fruits predominating.
